A native of Panchamadevi, Rtn. S. Chidambaram is the guiding force behind the temple’s restoration and spiritual growth. A post-graduate in commerce and a committed social worker, he has contributed significantly through various initiatives:
- Coordinated both temple Maha Kumbabhishekams
- Led successful legal efforts for nursing students’ government job rights
- Founded Sakthi College of Nursing & Sri Meenakshi Matric Hr. Sec. School, Karur
- Established Karur Texcity Rotary Hall, offered free for the poor
- Served as Rotary Club President and received Best Rotarian awards
